Now I lay me down to sleep...
Jun. 4th, 2005 03:31 amThe reunion was tons of fun; great and bizzare to see that everyone is the same and yet different. How did we all get old enough to graduate college and have jobs (those people are not me)?
You can see the younger versions of the best friend from fifth grade, the person next to you in third period math in the faces of people standing around you. You should know them. You do know them. It's in the eyes, and the smile, and the fact that, no matter who liked who back then (only a splitsecond from now), you're all twenty onetwothree and are still standing here. It makes it easier to laugh that way.
Besides, there's an open bar. :o)
Old friends can still be now friends, which is a great thing to rediscover. And now I am off to bed. Cheers!
