Because these things still work, even out of college... a done-is-good board, LJ-style.

At college, it would be a big deal when you could make your Done is Good board (basically a to-do list), everyone from the frosh to the seniors sitting on the floor outside the HA's room with a piece of construction paper and some markers. The best part was that you could have a piece of candy for every "thing", which you were supposed to eat when it was done. It'd be amusing to read them all: the freshman would always count things like "laundry" and "dinner with parents" as things-to-do, to fill up the sheet and get more candy. The upperclassmen would write down things like "20 page paper" and "THESIS OF DOOM"; no one would complain when that counted for four or five pieces of candy. It's a great way to both keep track of everything you need to do, as well as get a little gratification. In no real order, I present to you my Done-is-good goodiness:

DONE = Excellent!

*Micro-teaching Paper (8-20 pgs.) - Friday (12/16) by 3pm
*Science Teaching Brochure - Friday (12/16) by 3pm
*Science Brochure Worksheet - Friday (12/16) by 3pm
*Special Ed Final - Tuesday 12/20
*Dev Psych Final - between 12/16 and Thursday 12/22
*make Christmas list (ie who the hell still needs a present)
*check it twice... or not
*buy presents
*finish Rent!fic
*write and send Holidays cards

I have this paper. That's due at 4:10. That I haven't finished. Really. Not at all. And I still need to transcribe the interview. And they're turning the power off in ten minutes. *sigh* One of those days, huh? Ready set GOOOOOO! *flees*
