Dec. 3rd, 2007 05:34 pmHave been scarce, my apologies. Last week I taught all week (middle school social studies and then four days as a kindergarten teaching assistant) so I was a little bushed and forgetful about entries. My Thanksgiving was great, if tiring, and I can't believe that Christmas vacation is in 18 days (Forest gets out the 19th, Labyrinth the 20th). I work tomorrow (5th grade, I think) and Wednesday (French, of all things), and the 10th through the 20th I'm at Labyrinth assisting in 5th grade, which will be different. I love it there, though, so any way to get in... XD
It's weird for it to be December and no snow, though I get to live vicariously through all of your weather patterns :o) Feel free to come visit my journal in Feburary, when it will still be in the 50s and 60s *smirkyface*
If you're hankering for a holiday card, I will be making my "I will send you a card on or around the holidays!" post in a bit; I know you were missing it.
To conclude, my house? Is an absolute mess, I'm mildly failing at being a grownup at the moment, but Friday's episode of Stargate: Atlantis? Was pure GOLD. *makes flaily arms and squeaky noises*

Date: 2007-12-04 04:19 am (UTC)1) Did you get my eeeeeemail?
2) Miller's Crossing~! (http://winkingstar.livejournal.com/121126.html) *flails*
3) It is COLD and WINDY here but there is no snow. :( Snow is kind of hit or miss around here, so I am hoping for a bit but not entirely sure. But I am going home to Cali for Christmas, yay! So I can warm up for a week, at least. ;)
4) Yay for lots of jobs! Subbing seems like it'd be cool, since you get to flit around and teach different ages and subjects, and it definitely sounds like you're getting a nice variety. :)

3) No snow! Oh noes! And yay for warming up and getting to come back to Cali :o)
4) I know! It is a little hit and miss (like snow, apparently) but at the moment, I a highly employed, which is cool. And hysterical, in that I have momentary authority and then get to give the kids back. Kind of like the cool aunt. *cracks up*
