A string of unrelated PSAs

villainny, I got your postcard; it was adorable! I can't remember if I told you.
2. I finally did it and got a permanent account, swayed by knowing that it will be cheaper in the long run. If nothing else, I will always have a place to put my fanfic.
3. Speaking of fanfic, I finished a RENT fic a couple nights ago, so go read it if you like: Names Under Which They Now Go. I had a pretty good time churning it out.
4. I'm actually working on original fic that is really exciting. Partly it's because I had an epiphany surrounding the concept of steampunk, and the blend between science and magic. So we'll see.
5. I'm watching Elizabeth with Mom and it's really, really good. I've never seen it before, and it's nice to know that it ends... well, not well, necessarily, but she reigns for like a million years, so she makes it through this movie. Which is good. And Geoffrey Rush kicks extreme ass. Poor Joseph Fiennes, too. Sadness. Also, the Ninth Doctor! Evil! But great.
6. Finaly, here is the poem that helped me finish the above fic:
All Return Again
It is the secret of the world that all things subsist and do not
die, but only retire a little from sight and afterwards return again.
Nothing is dead; men feign themselves dead, and endure mock funerals
and mournful obituaries, and there they stand looking out of the
window, sound and well, in some new strange disguise. Jesus is not
dead; he is very well alive; nor John, nor Paul, nor Mahomet, nor
Aristotle; at times we believe we have seen them all, and could
easily tell the names under which they go.
