Watching Star Trek: TNG and it occurrs to me: there's always the given that the "red shirts" will die (i.e. the random bit parts who have like two lines in the episode and wear red shirts). But... Riker and Picard have red shirts too! This? Amuses me.
Despite the fact that my day is starting.... sort of nowish, I have great plans to take a shower, go grocery shopping, and tidy up my room. Maybe even work on some fic (and see if the ramblings I scribbled for
takethehouse actually make any sense when it's not 5am on a plane).
Oh and a uber stressful dream last night: apparently I was in Hawaii with my whole badminton team from college. We were training and running and stuff, and even though I had been doing that too, it was all complex and wrong and I had forgotten to tell my parents we were coming. And we were in our old house (so at least there were enough bedrooms?) It was so weird. Almost weirder than the dream night before, where my mother yelled at me about the "unhealthy" meal I had made. The meal? Chicken and vegetables. I was so confused. I'll be really glad when my body is done acclimating to the time zone, because my dreams are on crack.
To conclude: John Cusack is essentially the same character in every movie he is in. Yes? No? Discuss.
To REALLY conclude: congrats
rhymester on your ceremony today! Also, happy yesterday-birthday to
friede!
