This is the best meme ever. From [livejournal.com profile] villainny:

Go to the Wikipedia home page and click random article. That is your band's name. Click random article again; that is your album name. Click random article 15 more times; those are the tracks on your album.

Autografh
At turns humorously quirky and seriously meditative, the members of Autografh meet while waiting in line for student discount theater tickets on a street in Boston. They haven't had the chance to get rid of each other since.

Album Name:Braddon Green
An obscure poet that the drummer wrote his thesis about. The album cover has a wooden chair with a potted plant (some kind of leafy fern) sitting on it. Though these two facts aren't connected, the fans love to think they are.

Track 1: Canary
Being stuck in a pointless relationship. Rumors that the band wrote this due to a nasty ex-girlfriend have not been substantiated.

Track 2: Li Yanlu
Instrumental, with a special guest on a violin. Extensive layered harmonies.

Track 3: John Boozer
That guy at a party whose logic is only clear to those who are equally drunk. Bitingly funny and recorded with the help of some frat brothers at a nearby university.

Track 4: The Getaway
In interviews, they refer to this as the "James Bond of acoustic guitar songs". Tells the story of a late night adventure with tourists, loose change, and a continued wrong number.

Track 5: Vince Cunningham
Much of their fan following believe that Vince is a real historical figure who, as the song tells, fought and lived in the Revolutionary War. Autografh has repeatedly admitted in interviews that he's a fictional man named for a kid who stole the bassist's lunch money in third grade.

Track 6: Hanging Tree
A creepy, Halloween type song about the kind of urban myths and legends people tell. The song they get asked a lot about in interviews, but don't get to play very often.

Track 7: Ba River
Getting lost in a foreign country.

Track 8: 2003 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships
A hysterical look at how ridiculous parents can get about their children's athletic abilities. Look for the cameo of several of the mothers of Autografh during the interlude of dialogue.

Track 9: Michael English
The only song on the album that is written and sung by the two female band members; the guys only appear as instrumental accompaniment. The lies guys tell to impress girls at the bar.

Track 10: Festa
Fast-paced tribute to driving through small towns on road trips

Track 11:Raul Broadcasting
Instrumental with complex guitar riffs that they swear took months to perfect. In concert, the band will often end with this song and dance their way off-stage.

Track 12:1993 Montreal Expos season
Late night watching ESPN recaps. The lead singer also admits that he'd just watched "Field of Dreams" three times before writing this song. One of the most popular songs for their male fanbase.

Track 13:Constitution of the Republic of Macedonia
The rules you make (or should have made) when you get a roommate. The band has lived together in the same rented house for the past three years.

Track 14:Henry Barclay Swete
Going shopping at an upscale clothing store.

Track 15:Manning Criteria
The girls say this is about guys. The guys contend it is about girls. Either way, critics agree that it is very funny. You be the judge.

I... think I know want to write bandfic about my fake band. Is that bad?

Younger Sister is off at a holiday party with her boyfriend, though I get to go pick them up in an hourish. Today was a gloriously lazy Saturday and I had an amazingly plotted dream where Ianto was creating a high-energy car in France? If I remember correctly, he was also being incredibly sexy and awesome (but that is always the case, I suppose). Also, I was in a covered wagon in Oregon, making guns. It was very strange.

I want you to write badfic about your band. :D I also am very upset that track 8 doesn't actually exist. My band wants to cover it badly!
