flyakateWow, I was randomly procrastinating flipping channels and came across the finale of Stephen King's Kingdom Hosptial, which is all kinds of cracky amazingness. Not to mention that Paul Morlock is realy hot. And it makes me wish that ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
weallscream still played at Milliways, 'cause he was freaky and terrifying and amazing.
I'm loving all the weird connections to other King works (soft drink notwithstanding). The random trivia supports that. Maybe the Dark Tower ultimately exists in Swedenborgian Space? It reminds me even more of the doubling of the Black House in the The Talisman ( I need to read both of those again, actually).
And I LOVE how these random famous people King can get in his shows. I mean, Andrew McCarthy! The evil dad from Heroes! Not to mention Senator Kelly from X2. I can see why the show didn't do very well, the pacing is odd and a little overdramatic. But it would have been fascinating to see what would have come up in the second season, seeing as Paul and the Good Doctor were still around. Huh.
So, anywho, off to do some homework. But next free time I have (what's that? heh) I'll definitely have to stick the Kingdom Hospital dvds in (an cheap impulse buy at a Tower Records sale) to see it from the beginning.
And Rose Red is on USA. Is there a King epidemic for a reason, or pure coincidence? Very 19, indeed.
