I had my first official day of third grade. So far, the kids are pretty cute, my teacher seems really chill, and I got to meet the guy who wrote a ridiciulously famous book on writing conferring. Woah. Then, due to no caffeine in the morning, I had a headache roughly the size of Texas. Ow. But class was decidedly unpainful, and then there was new Supernatural!!!
Is it a sign that I've seen too many horror movies that I totally called that Maggie wasn't real? Either that, or decided she had to be involved because the actress plays Mia on The 4400. Like in cop shows, the famous people always did it.
The building was nicely atmospheric, but I thought it was too bad that the boys had to bolt out for part of the episode. Yeah, they built it into the plot andthe deus ex machina them showing back up was nice, but still. And I find it a little too pat that Maggie would just stop bothering them after Rose agreed to stay with her. Why did she bar her sister's spirit in the first place? It's called backstory, people, use it. Love it.
On an arcy level, I enjoyed the Dean and Sam stuff. Sam wins at drunkeness ("you're bossy... and short" killed me) and I love how all of Dean's objections to promising were totally overidden by the fact that Sam was asking him with the HUGEST PUPPY EYES ever. Dean's mockery of his hungover-brother was totally worth it, too. *cracks up*
Curious to see if the monster will pan out in the "locked room" (with a nice twist) of next week. And if it turns out that Ava went evil, I will have to choke a bitch. Because too EASY, by far.
