flyakateWatching "Coming Home", a Without a Trace episode I've never seen before (then it's new to you!) Spoilers abound! And...
OMG Danny is interviewing the a old gay nemesis (or rather victim from high school) of the gay guy who's missing. Oh, the meta is fantastic, in a *waving the Danny/Martin flag* sort of way. Except Jack is such a homophobe. And I really don't think I'm projecting the fact that Danny looks uncomfortable all throughout his little tirades. Now there's a fic, and a definite change from the "oh, he'd be so accepting of Danny and Martin"... except he wouldn't, you can see it. Part of me wonders if it would matter if it was people he knew, but it probably wouldn't make a difference. Which makes him a more distasteful character, which is really too bad. Especially as so much of WaT is the Jack and his Angst Show. So really, I'm just sticking around for the pretty that is Danny and Martin. I'm sure this shocks you greatly.
But seriously, Danny and Jack interviewing this new suspect (the guy's high school boyfriend of sorts)? Totally not an accident.
And Jack, you're being ridiculous, you break rules ALL THE TIME, so while I understand that Martin upset you, give him a break. You're not the calmest guy in the world or really rational, ever. So wtf, seriously.
Awwww, and now Sam and Danny are interview the missing guy's boss-boyfriend, and he's adorable. They break my heart. And I'm willing to bet that he's dead. Shit.
And apparently the boyfriend is not as nice as we thought... and Danny looks totally invested in this.Because he totally swings both ways, which explains his temporary insanity of hitting on Elena in the current season. And there's this total interesting side-plot about Martin's freakout and shooting and Vivian covering up. And apparently she did it because she's a total badass, which is AWESOME. And she's totally dishing shit to Jack and he's such a HYPOCRITE because they all lie for him all the time. While I cannot think of moments where this happened, it totally does. Because, clearly, Jack is infallible and everyone else must never mess up.
Oh COME ON, can we NOT have the boyfriend stereotypically FREAK OUT AND KILL the guy. WHYYYYY? Life is not a stereotype, people. Except I don't think he did it... ooh, was it the wife? Is he protecting her? OMG Jack did not just say that he "understood that she did it [killed her husband's gay lover]". Oh God. Ew. OH, SHE'S A BITCH, toying with the distraught missing man and then she PUSHED HIM OFF A HILL. People are... erg.

Does anyone have a recording of (Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher? It got stuck in my head as someone drove my by. It was in one of the Ghostbusters movies.
OMG, Robot Chicken is mocking Eight Mile... with Looney Tunes. It's FABULOUS. And Dr. Dre just told Bugs (B Rabbit, naturally) that he will go down in history "as the first gray rapper" *dies of laughter*
