flyakateAwww, early Bones... they're both so cute and adorable. I'm watching "The Man on the Fairway" and Booth/Brennan are so cuuuuuute. And I swear the random dude who's looking for his dad looks uber familiar , but I can't figure out why. (Thanks to someone's rambling on IMBD, I can now say it's because he looks a hell of a lot like Eric Close from Without a Trace. That is so strange. ETA: OMG, and also like Kevin Rahm, who was Amy's drug-addicted but then reformed and hot cousin on Judging Amy. Weeeeeeird.)
I also watched a season three episode (which I missed, because I caught the "Bones is awesome" train a wee bit late) and it's so interesting to watch parts of a story arc that you've already seen the conclusion too. Especially because it was such a monumental character shift for Zach and our crew, so every time you're watching him with the bones you think, "is this when it happened? Is he screwing with the evidence already?" This is doubly true for me because I missed the explanatory chunk of that episode due to a power outtage, but yeesh. Oh, Zach.
I also have another disc from the first season on my Netflix queue (which reminds me, need to send To Kill a Mockingbird back), so three cheers for roundabout watching of a show.
Tomorrow, our summer camp is going to see a movie and because it has to be rated G, we're going to see Space Chimps. Hopefully it won't totally suck? At least it will be air conditioned. And in the morning, I'm teaching upper grade math, so that will be interesting. Hopefully I can explain "equivalent division" better. It was hilarious, they called me this morning to say that the teacher couldn't find the teacher editions of the math books. I have no idea how they ended up in one student's desk, but it was quite random. And I had been fast asleep so I probably wasn't any help. "Uh... in the room somewhere? It's not like I took them..."
Okay, need to post this before my computer runs out of batteries. And then probably should get ready for bed and leave the dead people (and Booth and Brennan and Angela who is made of awesome) alone until tomorrow. When I will see my cousin and hang out and discuss our family act for the family talent show. Because that's just how we roll in an extended family of 100+ XD Gotta love it.
