Last night I discovered that yes, I have been eating my weight in potato chips. So the great exercise movement of 2008 has commenced. I treadmilled* 2.4 miles for approximately 40 minutes, which is.. better than nothing at all. Still, the point is to move, so move I did.
This? Is why I want a new bike for my birthday. The old one, having now done the math, is a little more than 10 years old and broken (and for all that off-roading I never did). So maybe a new one is in order, if I am ever going to move my lazy, lazy ass anywhere at all.
*insert long rambly discussion about how I wish I didn't weigh so much and it irritates me*
Fnerf. I am off to drink some more water read my mystery novel (The Man in the Queue by Josephine Tey). Of course, my mother has also piled copies of all her exercse books on the kitchen counter, so I might also flip through The South Beach Diet just for kicks.
*I am using this as my verb of choice, because ran is inaccurate, Flyakate does not run unless chased, and walked is both a tad too slow and seems highly wimpy.
