cutting right to the top through all the red tape
I made pasta sauce tonight, which tastes decent at first glance but also will probably settle better tomorrow. Onions and basil and tomatoes, yummmm. My "job" at Labyrinth is technically over tomorrow, with a slight chance that I'll be called in for part of next week if the teacher who's coming back (wow, long story) can't handle full days yet. I also plan to basically prostrate myself in the hopes of them giving me a job, any job. Cheerfully. They're a great group of people, very welcoming. And the kids crack me up. So here's hoping I get to go back (especially to the second grade, they're great).
I need to start getting my stuff together to head to bed, because last night I stayed up to watch Top Chef (where they sent home my favorite! Damn them!)and was uber tired this morning. Although randomly woke up at 5am for a bit. Weird. Have sucessfully learned how to program my new alarm clock though, which just goes to show you that a graduate degree can benefit you somehow XD
I owe some people my address and will do that probably tomorrow sometime, so if any of you want it, let me know and I'll add you to the list, as it were.
Off to spend some quality time with peanut butter and jelly. Booyah.
